Foraging In Modiin

Yesterday there was an awesome turnout to the foraging class in Modiin, and I've been requested to come back and teach there again, but at a time that works for people that are busy during the day.
A new class has been scheduled- April 6th at 5 pm at Givat Titora- starting at the parking lot near the water tower. Here is the Facebook page for the event.

To sign up, email or call 050-710-1791. You can prepay for the class to get a 5 shekel discount at the right of this page via Paypal.

And here, some pictures of yesterday's foraging class:

Teaching about wild fennel, the amazing smelling plant growing all over.

Demonstrating what you can do with wild edibles- wild mallow leaves stuffed with ground chicken and 4 different wild edibles.

Some of the people attending the class. It was about 35 women and one man! (And about 10 kids.) Many assume that these classes are women only- they're not- men, women, and children of all ages are welcome! It just happened to be that nearly all the people that attended this class were women. (Though past classes have been a 50/50 mix.)

Some more people attending the class.

Teaching about garland chrysanthemum.

Milk thistle with the thorns cut off, the way to use this terrific plant that many would otherwise consider a nuisance.

Come join us next time I'm in Modiin for a class.

And if you want a class near you, contact me via email to see if it is possible to arrange that.
So far there have been classes in Jerusalem, Ramat Beit Shemesh, Efrat, and Modiin, and there are plans for upcoming classes in Netanya and Maaleh Adumim (date not set yet),
